Hello everyone, recently moved to Luxembourg, this year I started renting out my house in Italy. I pay almost 30% taxes on the rent, but in the Luxembourg tax declaration they ask me for the gross and do not take into account the taxes I have already paid in Italy to calculate the "Revenu à base du taux global" ? Is there a way to deduct the taxes I have already paid?

Thank you !!

Rental income from real estate located in another country  is tax exempt, you have to show it that way in your tax return

Hello,

you will not have to pay taxes on the italian income, but your gross income (before tax) is considered to fix the global tax rate on the remaining income in Luxembourg as it's a progressive income. So it's correct to consider your gross income.
